Leap Pediatric Therapy is a compassionate, patient-centered pediatric therapy clinic dedicated to helping children thrive. Our interdisciplinary team works collaboratively to support children’s developmental needs in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment. LEAP specializes in treating children with neurological disabilities such as cerebral palsy, down syndrome, autism, sensory processing, and rare genetic disorders. Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive evaluations and therapeutic interventions to children from infancy through adolescence, helping them develop, recover, or maintain the daily skills needed for independence and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children’s fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual motor integration, self-care abilities, and developmental milestones.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, family goals, and best clinical practices.
- Provide evidence-based, goal-directed therapy in individual or group settings.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other healthcare professionals to support a child’s progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation including evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
- Educate and support families on home programs and carryover activities.
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education opportunities.
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy and applicable regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Occupational Therapist license in California
- NBCOT certification required
- CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience preferred (new grads with pediatric clinical experience are welcome to apply).
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Passion for working with children and a collaborative team spirit.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis

Classification: Part time hourly or full time salaried/exempt
Reports To: Practice Owners
Salary
- Full time starting range $95,000-105,000; wage is determined by schedule offered (full time vs. part time) and applicable experience
