Social Media Marketing Intern:
SUMMARY: The social media marketing intern provides support to the company’s owner by conducting research, reviewing reports to learn about social media, handling information requests, performing clerical functions such as managing inquiries, arranging conference calls ,scheduling meetings and helping plan events.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social Media Engagement + Blogging + Email Marketing(80%)
- Writing Weekly Blogs for LinkedIn & Website
- Sending out monthly and weekly emails
- Monitor social media pages for engagement and respond accordingly
- Manage client request
Other Tasks (20%)
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents
- Manage and maintain schedules, appointments and travel arrangements
- Data input and research
- Provide admin support to other team members
- Maintain online storage system
Good to have:
- Experience in Google Suite
- Eager, energetic and ready to learn
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Current college student
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook
- Time management skills and ability to prioritize work while multi-tasking
- Attention to detail
- Sensitivity to deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minor supervision
This job is perfect for a full-time college student interested in learning more about entrepreneurship. This starts off with 9 hours a week and will increase based on the availability of student.
