Co-ops enhance our success as a public office and The Auditor of State's office understands that students are our future. To develop the skills of our future leaders, the AOS offers students a premier experiential learning opportunity through our Co-op Program.
Program Overview:
- Hands on work performing the same duties as entry level auditors
- Full-time work throughout an entire semester
- Learn auditing techniques and gain insight into government operations
- Positions available Statewide

Qualifications:
- Communication skills necessary to succeed in a collaborative team atmosphere
- Ability to succeed in a project-based environment with deadlines
- Current enrollment in undergraduate or graduate program at a college or university
- Good academic standing
- Coursework includes at least 4 accounting specific classes

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must attend an accredited college or university and be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program. Students pursuing a degree in accounting are preferred. Applicant must have a valid Ohio driver’s license, must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and will undergo a pre-employment background check.
