Electrical Engineer, TMMTX Contract

ProSafe Inc. has a contract position for an Electrical Engineer in San Antonio, Texas.

Ideal candidates are recent or soon to be graduates in an electrical engineering degree program; or final year co-operative electrical engineering program; or possess a degree in electrical engineering from an accredited U.S. College; or have 1-3 years of experience in the fields of controls, automation, industrial manufacturing or process. Experience in design of electrical safety circuits and knowledge of various safety PLC programs including knowledge of NEC 70 Electrical Code, ANSI and ISO Standards for Safety of Machinery and Workplace Electrical Safety are an asset but not required.

The position will be supervised by ProSafe Inc. electrical engineers that will involve training on most of the subjects mentioned above.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities and willingness to work independently and in a team atmosphere are required with a high degree of problem solving and decision-making skills. Specialized training will be provided to the successful candidate.

The position is site specific to Toyota Motor Manufacturing in San Antonio Texas starting July 10th through March 30th, 2021. Safety Orientation and Training will be provided July 10th.

Preference will be given to candidates living in or near San Antonio, Texas.
