Position: Marketing and Branding Manager

The Marketing Communications and Branding Manager will be responsible for driving twenty-first-century communications and branding practices within our organization. The position sets the brand strategy, including the setting of style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition for short as well as long term. Experience in the publishing industry where content and layouts are done at the highest levels is a plus.

We are dedicated to delivering excellence across various industries. WTL Design (http://www.wtldesign.com) is an interior design company, headquartered in Beijing that offers turnkey solutions from first layout to construction completion. Over the past 20 years, we have built a solid client base that consists of about 80% international clients - covering industries from automotive and advertising to engineering and oil. Our main business is office spaces, but we are well versed in other fields, such as retail, brand experience centers, showrooms and private clubs. Since our founding, the WTL team has continued to grow and counts over 100 people to date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate sales leads and lead the team to achieve the sales goal in leasing
- Marketing and branding team management
- Planning and execution of all communications and media actions on all channels, including online and social media
- Assisting with product development, pricing and new product launches as well as developing new business opportunities
- Analyze past data within the company to identify ideal customers and opportunities
- Develop and improve the use of performance measures in the department
- Managing the budget for advertising and promotional items
- Writing content, and managing layout and graphic design
- Design websites, web-posts, WeChat posts, brochures and various other marketing materials
- Can photo edit and video edit when necessary
- Set the design aesthetic for the company’s public face
Job Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you need to have an international mindset while being deeply knowledgeable about the Chinese market. Your written Chinese is outstanding. You have a full toolkit, having not only directed various roles within branding and communications, but having also done them yourself. You are able to fill in the gaps with your deep skill set and hire and train an A team that gets results. You are also a process-oriented individual, who uses data collection to guide decision making and planning.

- Have worked in a mature, systematic enterprise and possess experience in building systems from the ground up
- Capable of leading a team as well as participating in the implementation of specific tasks
